It is with great regret and disappointment we wish to inform you that Khan vs. Peterson rematch scheduled for 19th May has now been cancelled, due to Lamont Peterson failing his recent drug test.

As a result of this all tickets for the May 19th Fight will be refunded, we aim to do this as soon as possible.
You will receive an email to confirm your refund in due course, please bare with us whilst we process your refund back to the original method of payment.

Rest assured, once the next Amir Khan fight is announced, we will again be making arrangements with the official camp and will be looking to work with them to provide Tickets and Travel Options for those who have been let down on this occasion.

Lamont Peterson is an American professional boxer. Peterson competes in the light welterweight division and the current unified WBA (Super) and IBF Light Welterweight Champion. Lamont Peterson was born January 24, 1984.

He became 141 lbs US champion in 2003. He holds wins over Rock Allen in 2003, who beat him twice 2004 in the Olympic box-offs, Mike Alvarado and Andre Dirrell, as well as 2003 amateur world champion Willy Blain (in 2003).

Amir Khan was born and raised in Bolton, England. His family is British Pakistani family. His family originated come from Matore, Kahuta in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Amir Khan belongs to the Janjua Rajput clan, a royal martial and warrior tribe of northern Punjab.

Besides English, Amir Khan also speaks Punjabi and Urdu. Amir Khan was educated at Smithills School in Bolton, and Bolton Community College. Amir Khan has two sisters and one brother, Haroon Khan, who is an amateur boxer and has represented Pakistan at an international level. His first cousin is the English cricketer Sajid Mahmood. Khan is a practicing Muslim. As well as boxing, Khan enjoys playing sports such as cricket, football and basketball.

Amir Khan is an avid supporter of his local football club, Bolton Wanderers, and uses the club's training facilities.

Khan got engaged to New York student Faryal Makhdoom, at the Reebok Stadium, on 29 January 2012. 1,000 friends and family were in attendance, including Ricky Hatton.
